    Addiction Intervention in Zimbabwe

Our team travels to your family in Zimbabwe and arranges direct admission in Cape Town.

When conversations have failed, a professional intervention gives a family a structured, loving way to ask their loved one to accept help, with a place in treatment ready the same day.

Our team travels to Zimbabwe to prepare the family, lead the intervention and, when the answer is yes, accompany or arrange travel to our clinic in Cape Town.

    • Our interventionist travels to Zimbabwe
    • Preparation sessions with the family first
    • Calm, respectful, non-confrontational approach
    • A treatment place ready on the day
    • Travel to Cape Town arranged
    • Family support whatever the outcome

    How an intervention works

We first meet the family, by video or in person, to understand the history and agree who will take part. Each person prepares what they want to say. On the day, the interventionist guides the conversation and keeps it calm.

    When to consider one

When drinking or drug use is putting health, safety or the family at risk, and the person keeps refusing help despite honest conversations.

    After the intervention

If your loved one agrees, travel and admission happen quickly. If not, we continue to support the family and help hold the boundaries agreed.
